In version 5.0, FileWave has added Mobile Device Management (MDM) integration. You can now use FileWave to manage all of your clients within a single window: Mac, Windows, and now iOS. Deploying profiles with FileWave is easy, with FileWave’s drag and drop functionality. Simply create your profiles using the latest version of Apple’s iPhone Configuration Utility, drag them into FileWave, and begin making associations to your iOS devices.

FileWave supports all of the MDM functions that Apple has made available (profile distribution, remote wipe, device lock, etc). In FileWave, you can search the App Store and, from the results, associate specific software to your iOS devices. An app portal webclip, which is specific for each device, displays all of your software recommendations on each iOS device.

For those of you in education, who have access to Apple’s Volume Purchasing Program (VPP), you can import your VPP spreadsheets into the application’s Fileset. This will allow your users to download the application, without having to know the VPP code.

Additionally, since FileWave manages your Macs and PCs at the file level, we have added a feature to search an iTunes library and easily distribute non-drm content (podcasts, videos, and audio) to remote Mac sync stations.
